Unified Sports Closes Inaugural Season with Kickball and Cornhole at Amherst on May 1
Midview's inaugural Unified Sports Team will close out its first school year of competition with a fun-filled day of Kickball and Cornhole at Amherst Steele High School on May 1. The Middies, who opened their inaugural season with a series of flag football, soccer and basketball games, will participate in three Kickball games and two Cornhole games against local opponents.
Midview opens with a Cornhole game against Olmsted Falls at 10 a.m. The Middies then play Lorain and St. Edward in Kickball at 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively. Midview returns to Cornhole against Amherst at 11:30 a.m. and closes the day in Kickball against Elyria at Noon.
Each Kickball game feature a 20-minute running clock. Teams are made up of 12-15 players and games will be 12 v 12. Teams get three outs or kick through their order each inning. Cornhole games feature one athlete and one partner with a race to 21.
