Bio

The guiding principle of MAHOF is to recognize athletes, coaches and teams that excelled in sports, and brought honor to the school district through their accomplishments.  Erin Wolfe fits that definition to perfection upon her induction into the Midview Athletic Hall of Fame.

Wolfe performed at a high level in three sports at Midview, volleyball, basketball and track, garnering 10 varsity letters during her career as a Lady Middie.  Her varsity career began as a freshman on the track team, where she competed in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles as well as the high jump, events she would compete in for all four years she was on the track team.  In her sophomore year, Erin placed 2nd in the Lorain County Conference meet in the high jump, and was named the Coaches Award winner.  She capped off her track career as a senior by placing second in the LCC Meet in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.  Wolfe was named MVP of the sprints and also received the Gatorade Athlete of the Year.  During her four years on the squad, Wolfe compiled 385 points.

In volleyball, Wolfe had a sparkling career, receiving three varsity letters.  Her senior year was sensational, as Erin was a first team All-Conference, All-County and All-District, as she led the team to a co-conference championship and a sectional title before finishing as district runner up.  During that senior season, Wolfe led the team in every category but one.  Over her career, Wolfe had a 77% serve rate and a 40% kill ratio.

In basketball, Erin shined over a three year varsity career.  The Lady Middies record in her varsity seasons was 51-15 which included two conference crowns as well as sectional titles her junior and senior years.    Wolfe was 2nd team All-Conference and All-County her junior year, and first team All-Conference and County her senior season, when she was also Honorable Mention All-State.  In that senior year, Wolfe averaged a double-double in points and rebounds (including a remarkable 21 points and 20 rebounds game against North Ridgeville) and she finished the season leading Lorain County in the rebounding category.
