A NIL recruiting inducement is an offer of compensation or a deal related to a student-athlete's NIL used to convince them to enroll at a specific school, which is against the rules. This could include cash payments, gifts or other benefits offered during recruiting and is distinct from NIL opportunities pursued after a student commits to a school.
If you suspect inducement, report it immediately to the Athletic Office. Inducement can include any business, community member, family member or outside individual offering compensation linked to enrollment, transfer or playing time.
